Why do all doctors mention long-term results and not permanent ones? Will grafts eventually reabsorb?

Septal grafts are permanent. However, the nose continues to evolve even if it has never been touched by a surgeon’s scalpel. The operated-on nose evolves less if the surgery is performed with appropriate attention to scarring, etc. The revision rhinoplasty has even more “engineering” within it. Native septal cartilage grafts should not resorb, unlike cadaveric rib, but they will change slightly in shape.
Seek an experienced revision rhino surgeon.
