Red peppers are delicious — and have high amounts of antioxidants, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, and bioflavonoids. These are known to help moisturize and repair damaged skin.
Tip: All red and dark orange-colored vegetables, such as beets and carrots, are great wrinkle fighters.
Kale is also rich in antioxidants, and is an excellent source of iron. Iron is effective in bringing blood to the skin, which will help your skin look healthy and repair itself quicker. Kale is also rich in Vitamin A, which helps to prevent premature aging effects.
Considered a power-food, blueberries are very high in antioxidants. Drop some blueberries into your morning smoothie and watch the helpful effects take place.
Salmon is high in omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids are known to fight inflammation and to be a great skin moisturizer.
