Our Process
Schedule a Consultation
The first step is for you to call or email our clinic with any interests, questions, or issues that you want to address, and we can then schedule an initial consultation.

Consultation and Discussion
The initial consultation is approximately one hour in length, and starts with paperwork that allows us to get to know you better. The main portion of the consultation is simply discussion — Dr. Athré is going to listen to your thoughts, areas you want to correct, ideas of what you want, and anything else you wish to talk about.

Physical Exam and Treatment Plan
After the initial questions, we will perform a complete physical exam and create a treatment plan. Treatment plans come with several options to give you multiple pathways to what you’re looking to accomplish. Rhinoplasty consultations can also include computer imaging.

Quotes
Following the treatment planning, our patient coordinator will provide you with written quotes for the various treatment plan options. Once it’s settled, we will schedule a pre-operative appointment.

Pre-Op Appointment
The pre-op appointment is the most important appointment, since we discuss pre-operative and post-operative instructions. We also explain the entire procedure once again, as well as go over anything that you would like to discuss before the treatment. A date and time is scheduled for your surgery, and the evening beforehand, our patient coordinator will give you a call for a “pep talk.”
Recovery Process
In the morning after the surgery, either our patient coordinator or Dr. Athré will call you to discuss your recovery. Your recovery process depends on the procedure, and can be as quick as four days or up to two weeks. You will be in constant touch with the office during this time, and schedule out three to four appointments during your healing journey.

Following the recovery period, you will enter the lifelong maintenance phase. You’ll have bi-annual check-ins with Dr. Athré, be able to access our patient portal, and receive invitations to special events. Welcome, you are now part of the Athré Facial Plastics family!
